Khayat bludgeoned by GOP operative Pete Perry

BLOGOSPHERE, Ms-- Today on the conservative news bastion Yall Politics, a commenter who signed his name, "pete perry" stated his disgust for Ole Miss Chancellor Khayat.

Reports from the Ole Miss nation have informed TCR that Chancellor Khayat probably wrote this letter for one of the following two reasons:

1. He is a loyal friend of Scruggs.

2. He is attempting to secure future donations from Richard Scruggs.

"I do not understand the relationship between Chancellor Khayat and Richard Scruggs, partly because their relationship is private and personal. I am however, keenly aware of the sheer need for money by our universities and have first hand experience in lobbying for students at the IHL level. I can see the sense in keeping the millions upon millions of dollars Dickie Scruggs gives to the University of Mississippi open for business, " said an unnamed University of Mississippi former official.

Perry is considered one of the most influential Republicans in Mississippi.
