The Markets

MADISON, Ms-- The price of Senator Barack Obama's chances of winning the presidency have climbed to 65% on the political prediction markets. Essentially, if you invest 1k on Obama to take the presidency and he wins, you get paid $350 on your 1k investment.

Other highlights below-

Currently Senator John McCain's chances are being wagered at 30%.

Va. Senator Jim Webb's chances of being picked for veep are hovering around 20%.

Clinton's chances are steady at 14% and Wesley Clark's numbers have been fluctuating from 7% to 12%.

It is also worthy to note that the Mississippi senatorial race is receiving some light, but increasing movement.
