MADISON, Ms-- In an election year full of twists and turns, its good to know that some easy predictions can still be made. One of those straight and narrow predictions is that Wicker will throw some gumbo at you know who.

Whenever a campaign manager says that the "more they know about candidate x, the more they like candidate y" you can be sure they will go negative--real negative.

The same quote was given by one of McCain's press crew members last week. This is a smash mouth, backed in the corner, life or death fight for the Republicans. In the RNC's play book, negative campaigning is simply a trusty tool of the trade and it will be greased up good for this particular race.
